Lyndsey will be playing at Barbie Deinhoff's in Kreuzberg on October 22. She will be showcasing new songs and showing off her new acoustic guitar. Schlesische Str. 16, 10977 X-Berg.

Lyndsey is in a new band - the Wooden Dresses. Needing a disctraction from the bass/electronics she's been playing in recent years - she's switched to acoustic guitar and if you're thinking mellow, rippling folk music, think again. This music has a definite funky edge as well as experimenting with sound and vocal
harmonies. Have a listen at www.myspace.com/woodendresses The wooden dresses played their debut gig in London in September.

Lyndsey has recently appeared at 3 ladyfests. Ladyfest Edinburgh and Ladyfest Belrin with Ray Rumours and Ladyfest Mülheim with Rae Spoon. The Wooden Dresses also played their debut gig with Rae Spoon in Berlin.

Lyndsey is back in London after another trip around mainland europe. She played at the launch of the latest edition of Fiber magazine in Vienna (see the flyer here), an acoustic gig with live accordian at Le Petit Laboritoire in Berlin and at Queer Festival Copenhagen.

You can now listen to MP3s of the original music Lyndsey composed for Dan Watson's An untold ammount of steps on this website. The contemporary dance performacne was premiered at the Robin Howard Dance Theatre, Euston, London on January 13th 2007. Lyndsey composed the music and was stage performing it live.

After working with dancer/choreographer Dan Watson on his new piece An untold ammount of steps Lyndsey is now back in the studio continuing to work on songs for her debut album.

Lyndsey was interviewed on the Scaledown radio show on London's Resonance FM on 24th March and played some new tracks live in the studio.

Lyndsey's summer performance aboard MS Stubnitz was broadcast on Amsterdam's DFM Radio on the Another Nice Mess radio show on 28th February.

Lyndsey collaborated with photographer Maxine Beuret on her Departure of the Slam-door Trains Photography and Sound Exhibition. The show was opened by the Lord Mayor of the City of London on 12th July 2005 at Cannon Street Train Station. After recording slam-door trains and interviewing passengers, Lyndsey created 3 sonic compositions for the exhibition. Click below to hear them in mp3 format.

Lyndsey was back in Chicago USA for the summer of 2005, working on new material and preparing for her second european tour in autumn. She showcased new material at Uncommon Ground on 16th July and at The Beechwood Inn on 7th August.

Lyndsey appeared at the Klinker club on 3rd February and 29th May 2005 and had fun improvising with her new sampler as well as singing a cover of a Lal Waterson song.

Lyndsey performed at Scaledown on 17th December 2004 presenting new compositions and all new improved bass-playing after a summer whiled away in the USA making music. See www.bagrec.com and www.theorchestrapit.com for more details.
